Updated Sunday 8:15pm:

Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on the N4 just outside Castlebaldwin.

The crash happened just after 7pm this evening.

Gardai say the road is closed between Drumfin and Castlebaldwin and diversions are in place.

Motorists are advised to slow down in the area and drive with care on the diversion routes due to the large volume of traffic on these smaller roads.

The road is expected to remain closed for at least another hour (8:15pm Sunday)
