TUS Scheme

Lotto Results

The numbers for the last draw, on Oct. 31st were 3, 14, 24 and 29. There was no winner. The jackpot is now €4200. Tickets can be bought in Bree’s Bar, Margaret’s Café and Keane’s Centra. Alternatively, contact Joe Gildea or Rose Cawley.

Scór Na nÓg
The County Final of Scór na nÓg takes place on Sunday November 26th. Events include solo singing, recitation and instrumental music. There is plenty of talent in the club, and anyone interested in representing Coolera-Strandhill should contact Seamus on  0719130151/0862114937.

 

Bag Packing

Many thanks to Supervalu Ballisadare and to all who helped out at our recent bag packing. The amount raised was €1,035

 

All-Ireland Final

There was disappointment for Sligo Masters last Saturday when they were beaten by Mayo in the All-Ireland Final. The club was well represented with Con O’ Meara, Declan Cawley, Pat Fenton and Christy Walsh all on the panel.

 

Indoor Hurling Resumes

Indoor underage hurling training will commence on Thurs. Nov. 16th. from 7pm to 8pm in the Regional Sports Complex, Cleveragh, Sligo. This is aimed primarily at U8 and U10 boys from both Strandhill and Ransboro schools.  Why not try your hand at this wonderful sport?  Hurleys and helmets will be available on a loan basis each night.
