Sligo University Hospital won at the 3rd Saolta Staff Recognition Awards earlier this week.
The ceremony took place in Galway where they won for developing the ‘Anesthesia App’ which is a mobile phone ‘App’ for Anaesthetic Doctors to use in the Hospital.
SUH were also nominated for three other awards in the Research, Education and Training and Innovation categories.
There was stiff competition with over 140 entrants from different Hospitals in the Saolta Group across seven different categories.
