Letterkenny is again facing another day with record numbers on trolleys.
The hospital had to put in place its emergency protocol earlier in the week because of the high numbers urging people to stay away from the Emergency Department unless absolutely necessary.
Today there are 37 patients on trolleys – that’s the second highest number in the country after Limerick.
There are 15 patients waiting at Sligo University Hospitals.
