Castleconnor GAA Club hosting cookery demonstration fundraiser

Castleconnor GAA Club are delighted to be hosting a Cookery Demonstration and Food Fair in the Diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone on November 9th at 8pm with Chef Adrian Martin

Adrian is one of Ireland’s newest and innovative chefs.  Adrian is an energetic and enthusiastic young Irish chef from County Cavan, who brings to the table an exciting and invigorating passion to the cooking fore. When he’s not making one of his regular television appearances, you can find Chef Adrian traveling the length and breadth of the country with a primary focus to educate both Primary and Secondary School level schoolgoers on the importance and value of good food through weekly visits and cookery demonstrations.

Adrian’s recipes can be found in a number of both printed and online publications, including the RTE Guide, Woman’s Way, The Farmer’s Journal and The Anglo Celt. Adrian is a regular staple on TV3’s ’The Seven O’Clock Show’ where he cooks with a celebrity guest live in studio and promotes the topical events of the week with hosts Lucy Kennedy and Martin King. In 2016 Adrian went on to team up with RTE to produce two new online series titled Fakeaway by Chef Adrian and Chef Adrian Eats Ireland, respectively these were the first series of their kind on the national broadcaster’s digital platform. Following the success of this, Adrian’s debut cook book Fake Away hit the shelves in summer of 2017 and within its first week of publication, Fake Away became Ireland’s best selling cook book.

On the evening of the demonstration, we are hoping to host a variety of food stalls, showcasing local producers with artisan products.  Stalls will be set up prior to the demonstration and remain in situ during the break and for a period of time after the cookery demonstration.
