Sligo County Council says replacing 13 broken parking metres in Sligo town will come down to money.
It emerged at a Council meeting yesterday that of 82 pay and display machines 13 aren’t working.
The Councils report reveals that most of the machines are nearly 10 years old and that spare parts are no longer available.
The supplier of the machines has told the council the only solution is to install an entirely new model.
But the Council says the money will have to be found in the 2018 Budget.
