Programme to help domestic abusers to launch in Sligo



A new programme aimed at helping domestic abusers is taking place in sligo over the coming weeks.

The group ‘Men Overcoming Violence Ireland’ want to focus a series of sessions to support men who have committed domestic abuse to take responsibilty for their actions and to change their outlook.

MOVE Ireland’s Regional Coordinator, Ewa Fitzgerald says that they are now urging men to sign up.

There will be 10 individual sessions and 23 group sessions hoping to start in December.
