One of our former players Ronan Keane rolled back the years at the weekend when he and the Sligo masters gaelic football team qualified for the All-Ireland Masters final after a win over Cavan in Drumlish. Sligo’s opponents in the the decider will be Mayo.

Donegal Smiles

There were a number of happy Drumcliffe/Rosses Point club faces in Clones, Co Monaghan last Sunday. The Cannon clan were out in force at St Tiernach’s Park to watch their native Kilcar score a memorable Ulster club championship success against Scotstown by 1-16 to 1-6. Hugh Cannon (Snr) was a key member of the Kilcar 1980 senior football team which won the Donegal championship and also contested the Ulster club championship that year.
