Sligo Rovers look set to be without both Craig Roddan and Regan Donelon for their last game of the season away to Drogheda United on Friday.
Both players face one match bans for an accumulation of yellow cards having been booked in last week’s defeat of Derry City.
Both midfielder Roddan and full-back Donelon have been key players for the club in their battle to avoid the drop in recent weeks, and both claimed their first goals for the club over the past fortnight.
Roddan says he is disappointed the season is coming to an end given the sides resurgence in recent weeks…
In better news for Rovers, defender Kyle Callan-McFadden will be available again on Friday.
The centre-back was suspended for last week’s 3-0 defeat of Derry City after an accumulation of yellow cards, but will return for the game at United Park.
Rovers boss Gerard Lyttle will have to decide whether to slot the Donegal native straight back in to the team, or stick with the partnership of Michael Leahy and Seamus Sharkey, who kept a clean sheet against the Candystripes.
Callan-McFadden and Sharkey are both nominated for the club’s player of the year award along with midfielder Rhys McCabe.
