The Sligo Leitrim and Northern Counties Railway Working Group are confident that the Greenway from Sligo to Enniskillen will eventually receive funding.
Sean Conlon of the group says that the opening of the Dromahair Greenway is a great success and hopes that it and others in the region can be further developed and built.
Greenways are becoming more prominent in the country with a number of very successful ventures such as in Waterford and Limerick.
Speaking to OceanFM, Mr. Conlon says that the Dromahair Greenway has been a great success and are hopeful of funding for further development.
