A Leitrim Councillor says a near miss on a dangerous part of the N16 highlights the need for more signage and barriers in the area.
There are serious safety concerns about a stretch on the N16 at Foxfield between Manorhamilton and Glenfarne.
Fine Gael Councillor In Leitrim Sean McDermott claims cars are frequently going off the road, tumbling down a hill and landing close to a house.
He says a barrier should be erected and the surface of the road examined.
Cllr McDermott will raise the issue at the next meeing of Manorhamilton District next week:
