Government committed to developing cross border infrastructure



The government is still committed to developing infrastructure between the North and the Republic.

That’s according to an Taoiseach Leo Varadkar who met with the North West Development Group which is made up of cross border reps including Donegal County Council and Strabane District Council.

Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council, Gerry McMonagle says the group is calling for enhanced status for the Derry/Letterkenny City Region in the National Planning Framework as well as development of the A5/N14 route connecting Letterkenny to Dublin.

Speaking to OceanFM, Councillor McMonagle says that the they also spoke about the N4 route from Dublin to Sligo:
