Sligo’s Cillian Gallagher has been added to the Connacht squad for in the European Challenge Cup.
The Irish U20 international has been registered as a replacement for Andrew Browne, who is rehabilitating from an Achilles tendon injury and is not due to return to action until next month.
Gallagher is a back-row forward and captained the Irish U20s during this year’s Six Nations campaign before his tournament was cut short by injury.
Connacht opened up their campaign with an impressive bonus point win against French side Oyonnax away last week and face Worcester Warriors in Galway in round two on Saturday.
