Updated: Garda appeal for help in finding missing woman in Sligo

Gardai are continue their appeal for information in tracing the wherabouts of a Sligo woman missing for over a week now.

The Coastguard has been assisting again today in the search for 34 year old Roisin Dolan who was last seen last Wednesday the 11th of October at Finisklin Far, near Sligo town.

Today Gardai have launched a public appeal for information on the whereabouts of Roisin Dolan.

The Coastguard was again called in to scan the river at Finisklin, however, a spokesperson has confirmed to Ocean FM News that that search is now complete and nothing was found.

Ms. Dolan is described as five foot five inches tall with dark brown hair tied in a pony tail, with brown eyes and of medium build.

When last seen, she was wearing a cream coloured top with a Polar Bear logo and the words ‘BeCool.’

She was also wearing combat type bottoms and hiking boots or shoes.

Anyone who may have seen her or has any information is asked to contact the gardai in Sligo, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Thirty-four year old Roisin Dolan has not been seen since October 11th.
Roisin Dolan was last seen at Finisklin Far, near Sligo town.

She was also wearing combat type bottoms and hiking boots or shoes.

Yesterday, the Coast Guard helicopter was called in to help in the search at the Deep Water Quay area at Finisklin.

Gardai say they and her family are ‘very concerned’ for the missing woman.
