St John’s come from five down to win intermediate title



St John’s claimed the Kennedy’s Intermediate title in Sligo on Sunday in Markievicz Park.

They came from five points at half-time to beat St Farnan’s by 1-14 to 0-12 in the final replay, with Tommy Kelly getting the crucial goal.

Elsewhere, Curry made the drop to the intermediate grade after losing to Drumcliffe/Rosses Point by 1-12 to 0-13 in the relegation final.

At junior level, Tourlestrane reached the final after beating Cloonacool.
