Hard luck to the minor team who lost out in the championship shield final on Friday evening last in Scarden. With some crucial players injured it meant the team had to step up, in which they did with some great football played, the game was a very close contest right through with a half time score of 2:08 to 2:06 to Shamrock Gaels. Even with a black and red card given to the opposition, they stepped up their game. Winning with a final score of 2:17 to 2:10. Well done to the lads on a great performance also a speedy recovery to Mathew Clavin, Adam Cunane, and Conor Murray. Thank you to all who came out and supported the team.
U16 is scheduled to play Collera/Strandhill in the Shield play off on Wednesday evening at 7:00pm in Scarden.
