€100,000 worth of drugs found near Ballisodare, Co Sligo

Gardai are appealing for the public’s help following the discovery of €100,000 of drugs near Ballisodare in County Sligo.

A man walking his dog at Glenwood, Ballisodare, discovered a package containing the drugs.

Gardai searched the package and found powder and tablets, which have now been confirmed as ecstasy, with a street value of €100,000.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have visited the area in the days leading up to October 3rd, or anyone who noticed any activity in the area, to contact them at Sligo Garda Station on 071 915 700.
