Donegal outlets among those targeted by Food Safety Authority

Two food premises in County Donegal were among ten throughout the country on which closure orders were served during the month of September for breaches of food safety and foodstuffs legislation.

They were the Caspian Pizza restuarant and cafe at the Main Street car park in Donegal Town and Harry’s Bar and Restaurant Ltd in Bridgend.

The closure orders have since been lifted.

Speaking to Ocean FM News, Gail Carroll, environmental policy manger with the Food Safety Authority, explains how the enforcement process works.
