23 patients are on trolleys in Letterkenny University Hospital with 17 in Sligo University Hospital.
The figures have escalated again this week but they are down slightly from yesterday when 47 people were waiting for admission.
31 people are on trolleys in University Hospital Galway while the worst affected area in the country is university Hospital Limerick 45 people waiting for a bed.
