Play volunteers for children are being sought in Sligo University Hospital.
Children in Hospital Ireland will be hosting information and recruitment evenings in the coming weeks.
CHI was founded in 1970 with the emphasis on protecting the rights of children within hospitals.
One of its key areas is seeking ‘Play Volunteers’ who will go to hospitals for two and half hours a week and play with sick children.
