Donegal is to benefit from the third highest allocation in the country for the newly reinstated Local Improvement Schemes.
€884,000 has been allocated to county Donegal, with €282,000 for Sligo and 250,000 for Leitrim.
Local Councillors have been lobbying for this scheme to be brought back for people living in rural areas.
