People affected by flooding in Donegal are urged to avail of government funding

The government is urging people affected by the August flooding in Donegal to avail of funding.

A hundred and fifty people have been given emergency funding so far since the Inishowen flood devastated peoples homes and businesses last month.

The initial money was to provide income for things like food and clothing and other essential household items.

More money is still available though – long term financial support of up to 15 thousand euro can be claimed from next week.
