Ethna Gallagher, Croagh Road, Dunkineely. Peacefully at the Letterkenny University Hospital. Remains reposing at the home of her daughter Mary and son in law Aidan O’Donnell, Croagh Road, Dunkineely today until 10pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30 am going to the Church of Saint Joseph and Saint Conal, Bruckless for funeral mass at 11.00 o’clock. Followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Donations if desired to the Stroke Medical Rehab Unit, Letterkenny University Hospital, care of any family member or John B. O’Donnell Funeral Director.
Anna Gethins, In Greenwich, London and formerly of Cloonlurg, Riverstown, Co. Sligo. Daughter of Pattie and the late Paddy Gethins, Cloonlurg. Funeral arrangements later.
Philip Mc Guinness, Carrowrevagh, Glenaniff, Rossinver. Co. Leitrim. Peacefully at the North West Hospice Sligo. Remains reposing at his home this evening until 9pm. Removal to St Aiden’s Church, Ballaghmeehan on Saturday morning for 11am funeral mass with burial afterwards in Rossinver new cemetery. House private to family on Saturday morning please.
Alfie Banks, ‘St.Anthony’s’, Sligo Road, Ballymote and formerly Kellystown, Knocknahur, Co. Sligo. Peacefully at the Community Nursing Unit, Ballymote. Reposing at his home today from 7pm until 10pm and on Saturday from 11am until 4pm. Family time thereafter. Removal on Saturday to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote arriving at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday morning at 11.30am followed by burial in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Ballymote. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo or the Patients Comfort Fund, Community Nursing Unit, Ballymote.
The months mind mass for the late Kathleen Greene, Main street, Blacklion, Co Cavan will take place on Saturday at 12 o clock in St Patricks Church, Killinagh Blacklion.
The anniversary mass of Mary McGourty, formerly of Old Galway Road, Collooney will take place on Saturday in the Church of the Assumption, Collooney, at 8pm.
