Ocean FM has received three nominations in the prestigious IMRO All-Ireland Radio Awards for 2017.
The Francie Boylan Show has been nominated as Best Comedy Programme, for ‘Whats Snots 13 years later’, a re-union between Francie and a contestant on RTE children’s programme, The Den.
Niall Delaney, presenter of North West Today, is nominated as Speech Broadcaster of the Year.
And Niall Delaney and Claire Ronan are nominated in the Specialist Speech category, for ‘The Golden Man:The Mystery of Peter Bergmann’, a feature they broadcast on the unidentified body washed up at Rosses Point in 2009.
The Awards night will take place on Friday, 6th October, in Kilkenny.
