Donegal County Council offices remain open today for flood victims



Donegal County Council offices are remaining open today to help people affected by the flooding.

Road repair crews have been working hard to re-open the main routes hit by flood damage.

While the Minister for Agriculture Michael Creed says the government needs to invest in flood relief measures to combat flooding.

He has also blamed the devastation on climate change, insisting the government needs to play its part in tackling the effects of global temperature changes.

The Defence Forces will continue to assist in the clean-up operation today, while Donegal County Council has been promised the necessary resources to provide relief.
