‘Hooked’ maritime festival in Killybegs on Sept. 2nd



Any chefs in Donegal who feel they are King or Queen of the Chowder still have a chance to enter the Donegal Chowder Cook Off as part of the Hooked Maritime Festival in Killybegs.

The festival which is run by the Killybegs Community Council is taking place this year on the 2nd of September at LYIT Killybegs.

Chairperson of the Community Council, Emer McGuinness says the aim of this annual event is to promote seafood showcasing the town as not only an industrialised town but one of marine tourism and a leader in the seafood sector.
