A post office campaigner in the North West says an end date for a review by An Post on local outlets is needed.
Thomas Walsh who is the Chairperson of the Ballygawley Save Our Post Office campaign received a response from An Post on his queries on when the outcome of an ongoing review is due.
It’s not yet known if the post office in Ballygawley will be retained in the longterm and others in the region are also under threat of closure.
Mr. Walsh says it’s unusual that An Post has no timeline as to when it would like the outcome of this review:
