Teagasc holds ‘Energy in Agriculture’ event



Teagasc, the Agriculture and Food Development Authority, is holding an Energy in Agriculture event next Tuesday in County Tipperary.

The free event is Department of Agriculture Knowledge Transfer approved, and will give farmers new information and ideas about the opportunities and issues that exist in the renewable energy sector.

Bioenergy and farm scale renewable projects offer farmers the chance to diversify their farm businesses and have the potential to improve farm efficiency and profitability.

Farming groups including the IFA are urging farmers from this region to attend.
