Donegal tourism will receive a massive boost next month when it features heavily in the September issue of National Geographic UK.
The magazine will have a 20-page pull-out section showcasing all that the county has to offer.
National Geographic Traveller UK is one of the world’s leading travel publications.
This year, Donegal was named by the publication as Number 1 in its yearly list of Coolest Places on the Planet to visit, coming in ahead of Helsinki in Finland aned Santiago in Chile.
Last June, National Geographic Traveller UK joined up with Donegal tourism to bring a journalist and photographer to the county.
It’s their experiences that form the basis for what’s in the coming supplement on the county.
