The Mayor of Donegal town is welcoming funding for a new footpath in the town.
Patricia Callaghan says she has been working on securing the footpath along the Ballyshannon road or the R267 from Temple’s Corner for the last two years.
Talks with the landowners have been ongoing and Donegal County Council has now confirmed that they will be able to start work later this year
