One lucky Leitrim man made a mad dash to National Lottery headquarters in Dublin this evening to collect his EuroMillions Plus top prize of half a milliong euro just in time for his weekend celebrations.
The Leitrim dad bought his winning Quick Pick ticket on Saturday (July 29th) at the iconic Mulvey’s House of Gifts store which is situated on Main Street in Carrick on Shannon in Co. Leitrim.
The lucky Leitrim player wishes to keep his identity private but he told the National Lottery “It all seems a little bit surreal” saying it will take some time to sink in.
The lucky Leitrim winner says it is only his fourth time to ever buy a lottery ticket.
