One of the region’s most popular agricultural shows will be launched in West Sligo this evening.
The 2017 edition of the Enniscrone and District Agricultural Show takes place this year on Saturday, August 26th and will be officially launched in Muddy Burns’ Bar and Restaurant in Castleconnor this evening at 7pm.
Now in its 28th year, this year’s edition takes place on the grounds of the Castleconnor Community Centre due to the unavailability of its regular site at Castlefield in Enniscrone.
This year’s show includes all showing classes including classes for horses, ponies, donkeys, cattle, sheep, poultry, dogs and home industry, with exhibitors from all over the country taking part.
The Enniscrone and District Agricultural Show will be officially launched tonight by Sligo and Castleconnor GAA star Kevin McDonnell.
