Sligo and Derry minors to clash in Ballybofey

Sligo’s All-Ireland Minor Football Championship quarter-final will take place in Ballybofey’s Mac Cumhaill Park.

The game against Ulster champions Derry will throw-in at 2pm on Saturday, August 5.

David Cummins’s Sligo side lost out to Galway in the Connacht final earlier this month, while the Derrymen defeated Cavan in the Ulster final in Clones.

Galway will face Cavan in one of the other three quarter-finals, with that game due to take place in Carrick-on-Shannon’s Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada at the same time as the Sligo-Derry game.
