IHCA: State of mental health funding reveals government’s indifference



Hospital consultants say the Government’s more interested in balancing budgets than treating patients.

The Irish Hospital Consultants Association is launching its Pre-Budget Submission today, with a call for increased investment to tackle waiting lists.

It says funding is urgently needed to reverse previous bed closures and reflect our aging population.
