The season for Agricultural Shows is getting underway and a successful County Sligo Agricultural Show took place in Riverstown over the weekend.
Vice President of the European Parliament Midlands North West MEP Mairread McGuinness gave the opening remarks.
She spoke to Ocean FM news afterwards and said these events are a great opportunity for her to hear the real issues farmers are worried about.
She says it’s clear Brexit is a concern and with the second round of negotiations today, she says she is keeping a close eye on proceedings:
