‘Bad parking habits’ contributing to loss of coach business in Sligo



The CEO of Sligo’s Business Improvement District says more work needs to be done to improve coach parking in Sligo town.

Gail McGibbon says she agrees with comments made by a coach-driver on North West Today on Ocean FM today.

The driver claims that Sligo could be losing up to €2m a year because coaches cannot park in designated spaces.

He also says there are problems manoevering a junction onto Stephen street.

Gail McGibbon told Ocean FM News this lunchtime that they are working with the Council on a zero-tolerance approach to this problem and the junction in question will also be looked at:
