Minister welcomes next year’s Irish Open in Donegal as a massive boost for the region



Donegal Minister Joe McHugh says Ballyliffin Golf Club hosting next year’s Irish Open will benefit the whole North West region.

The FG TD and government Chief Whip has welcomed the decision to award the staging of the competition to the links course on the Innishowen peninsula.

The competition, which is set to take place on July 5th to 8th next year, will attract tens of millions of people from around the world to the Inishowen peninsula.
