Bill Callaghan, Cyprus, and formerly of Jink’s Avenue, Sligo. Suddenly in Cyprus. Reposing at the Foley & McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Monday, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Funeral will arrive at Sligo Cathedral on Tuesday, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am with interment in Sligo Cemetery afterwards. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust care of Foley & McGowan Funeral Home.

 

John Meehan, Coolum, Mountcharles, County Donegal. Peacefully at home. Reposing at his home today until 11pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.15am for 11am funeral mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles, with interment in St Mary’s Church Cemetery, Frosses. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to SMA Missions care of any family member or John McGowan Funeral Directors. A one-way system will operate at the wake house. Entry to the wake at Drumbeigh on the main Donegal/Killybegs Road and exit at the Frosses/Glenties Road.

 

Sean Griffin, Ardeskin, Donegal Town. Peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital. Remains reposing at the family home at Old Laghey Road, Ardeskin, today until 10pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town, for 11am funeral mass with burial immediately afterwards in St. Agatha’s Cemetery, Clar. Family flowers only please donations in lieu to the Aras Mac Shuibhne Nursing Home Patients’ Comfort Fund care of any family member. House private on Saturday morning please.

 

Mary Jane Barron, nee McDermott, Ballymagroarty, Ballintra, County Donegal. Peacefully at the Shiel Hospital, Ballyshannon, in her 95th year. Formerly of Culfadda, Ballymote, County Sligo. Reposing at her son Paul and daughter-in-law Anne’s residence today until 10pm. Removal on Saturday at 10.15am to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Cashelard, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if so desired to the Shiel Hospital Patients’ Comfort Fund care of Patrick McKenna Funeral Directors or any family member.

 

Jack Reynolds, Rosehill, Sligo, and late of Crossmolina, County Mayo, peacefully after a short illness at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at Nazareth House Chapel, Sligo, from 4pm to 6pm on Sunday. Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am on Monday in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo. Burial follows in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo. House private please. Patricia (Paddy) McGowan, Kiltyclogher, County Leitrim. Peacefully at St. Phelim’s Nursing Home, Dromahair. Reposing at St Phelim’s Nursing Home today until 5pm followed by removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Kiltyclogher, arriving at 6pm. Funeral mass on Saturday at 11am. Burial afterwards to adjoining cemetery.

 

Geraldine Healy, nee Corcoran, Carrowkeel, Castlebaldwin, County Sligo. Suddenly. Reposing at her home today, Friday until 10pm and tomorrow, Saturday from 12pm to 5pm. House private thereafter please. Removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballinafad, arriving at 8.30pm on Saturday. Mass of the Resurrection on Sunday at 1.30pm followed by burial in Ballyrush Cemetery.

 

Kevin Burke of Sonas Village, Enniscrone, County Sligo and formerly of Lisdavogue, Knockmore and Dromore West. Funeral will arrive to St. James’s Church, Easkey on Saturday afternoon for funeral mass at 2pm. Funeral proceeding afterwards to Roslea Cemetery, Easkey.
