Carew aiming for a good start in Navan

Sligo boss Niall Carew says he is hoping for a good start in Navan on Saturday as his side face Meath in round two of the Qualifiers.

The Yeats men will be without the injured Eoin McHugh, Cian Breheny and Cathal Henry for the tie in Navan’s Pairc Tailteann.

They’ve already knocked out Antrim in the qualifiers after a late surge in Markievicz Park on the weekend before last.

But Carew says that start of the match could be just as important as the finish on Saturday…

Saturday’s game is live on Ocean FM in association with EJmenswear.com
