The Sligo-Leitrim League U14s finished as runners-up at the annual Gaynor Cup in Limerick over the weekend.
The team coached by Catherine Hyndman, Alan Henry and Hugh Cunningham won all their games in the competition, before losing out to a late Galway League goal in the final.
In an enthralling final between two unbeaten sides, Orlaith Conlon scored the winning goal after great work by Anna Fahey.
Galway were presented with the trophy by FAI CEO John Delaney as Galway reached the final in all three age-groups (U12, U14, U16).
The finals wrapped up the four-day tournament which has seen over 45 teams compete and over 1,000 girls participate in the Fota Island Resort Gaynor Tournament at the University of Limerick.
