Abbvie’s Ballytivnan plant is one of the first in Ireland to receive sustainable management certificate

Abbvie’s Ballytivnan plant in Sligo has become one of the first Irish businesses to receive sustainable management certification from the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).

ISO is designed to help organisations manage the life cycle of their fixed assets such as buildings, IT equipment, and machinery.

It ensures their assets are used in a sustainable fashion during their life-cycle.

Abbvie Ballytivnan currently produces drug delivery devices for a range of immune-related illnesses including rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn’s disease.
