A Sligo-based member of Renua says the party is pro-life.

There had been confusion in the past about where the party stood on the issue but former election candidate Finbar Filan says its candidates will now have to be pro-life and vote pro-life.

However, speaking to Ocean FM’s North West Today Show, he accepted not all Renua members may hold that view and he said they respected the opinions of others.
