Wicklow brothers making their way through the North West in aid of Focus Ireland

Two County Wicklow brothers are today making their way through the North West as part of a grueling one thousand mile hike.

Andrew and Stephen Hill, who are natives of Bray, are raising vital funds for Focus Ireland. They began their journey almost three weeks ago, starting from Clomacnoise in County Offally. The adventurous duo then made their way towards the Cliffs of Moher, before heading north through County Galway and on to the North West.

They arrived to a heroes welcome in Tubbercurry on Friday before making their way towards Keash in Ballymote yesterday morning and on towards Moytirra near Castlebaldwin where they camped last night.

Today, they plan to travel towards County Leitrim and on to Manorhamilton.

Speaking to Ocean FM News from the banks of Lough Arrow this morning, Andrew explained the reasons why he and his brother chose the charity they did. They also praised the welcome they received in County Sligo.
