Gardaí in Sligo have confirmed to Ocean FM News that a young boy who went missing from his home in the town has been found.
The child, who is believed to be from the Kevinsfort area, was reported missing to Sligo Gardaí this morning but has since been found safe at a location in the town at approximately 12.30 this afternoon.
There had been considerable concern for the child after an appeal was posted on Facebook in relation to his whereabouts.
