St Naul’s stay top in Division Three as Fanad Gaels fall to Downings



Fanad Gaels missed out on the chance to overtake St Naul’s at the top of the Allsportstore.com Division 3 League yesterday evening.

They were beaten by Downings on a scoreline of 1-11 to 0-9.

The Mountcharles side remain level on points with Fanad at the top, but sit top because of their better scoring difference.

St Naul’s also have two games less played than their northern rivals.

Downings also won the reserve game last night, while Bundoran lost by 4-18 to 1-8 in a rescheduled Division One reserve game.

In the U14 Southern Board League, St Naul’s beat Naomh Conaill by 4-10 to 4-1, while Four Masters were 3-9 to 4-4 winners against Aodh Ruadh.
