Tonight’s Champions League Final will have a Sligo involvement for the second year running.
Strandhill illustrator Dan Leydon has retained his title as BT Sport’s Champion’s Draw winner after being selected by competition judges for his drawing ahead of tonight’s final between Real Madrid and Juventus.
The drawing features a number of Madrid stars in different poses around a giant Champions League trophy.
Dan’s illustration will be the centre piece of an exhibition of work from each of the competitors at tonight’s final at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
Madrid star Gareth Bale tweeted Dan to inform him of his win. After which Dan says he was inundated with congratulations on his social media accounts.
