McLoughlin says he will “keep the pressure” on new Fine Gael leader in relation to North West issues

Sligo/Leitrim Fine Gael TD Tony McLoughlin says he will continue to press the party’s new leader on issues concerning the North West.

Leo Varadkar was appointed leader of Fine Gael last night and is expected to be named Taoiseach in the coming weeks.

Speaking to Ocean FM News this morning, Deputy McLoughlin said he believes the new leader will listen to the concerns of the people in this region.

He said he is already looking forward to speaking with Mr Varadkar and he will “keep the pressure” on issues already highlighted to him by the Sligo/Leitrim representative.
