Beach users in South Donegal are being asked to get involved in this year’s Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week.
The awareness week is run by An Taisce in celebration of the natural resource of the county’s coastlines and focuses on the importance of keeping beaches litter free.
There will be a free yoga session on Rossnowlagh beach this morning at 10.45 followed by a short mindfulness meditation session on the beach. A two minute beach clean up will follow.
Meawhile and to celebrate World Oceans Day this Thursday, June 8th a ten mile Wild Atlantic Way Clean-up takes place along the Creevy Shore Walk.
