A North West garden designer and interior architect has been announced as the Overall Small Garden winner at the prestigious Bloom 2017 Festival in Dublin.
Leonie Cornelius, from Glencar on the Sligo/Leitrim border, won the award for her show garden called ‘Everyone has a Dream’.
The festival is running in the Phoenix Park for the next three days.
Skreen, Co Sligo based Western Plant Nursery has won a silver medal at the festival..
Deirdre Houston from Ballymote, Co Sligo, is also one of 50 floral artists taking part in the botanical and floral art exhibition.
