Brexit support for local SMEs

Businesses in the North West are being urged to prepare for Brexit by talking to their Local Enterprise Office (LEO) about the range of supports now available.

They are available to SMEs through the three LEO offices in the region including Sligo, Letterkenny and Carrick-on-Shannon.

They include access to the Brexit SME Scorecard, an online checklist where SMEs can self-diagnose their readiness for Brexit.

A ‘Technical Assistance for Micro-enterprises’ grant is also available. This helps LEO clients to find new markets and exports.

SMEs can also find out more about the rollout of ‘Learn for Micro’ which is a guide for SMEs to become more efficient and competitive.

Details of the LEO Innovation and Investment Fund pilot programme will also be available.

The fund supports innovation in micro-enterprises and helps them to get investor ready.

Tailored mentoring to address Brexit-related business challenges including financial challenges is also available.
